Biography
Gary Carlson – President and CEO  
As an industry veteran, Gary Carlson has overseen the growth of Select 1 since founding the company in 1997. Gary provides strategic direction and acts as the Chief Customer Care Officer for the company.

His leadership and determination has enabled Select 1 to outpace its peers, and to leverage opportunities in economies both good and bad. It is Gary's vision which enables Select 1 to claim the mantle of North America's premiere automotive logistics company.

Patrick Evo – General Manager  
Pat started in the trucking industry in 1978. He spent several years in operations and sales before joining Select 1 Transport in 1997. Pat was a Sales Representative for 6 years before he was promoted to Director of Sales. In January of 2005 he assumed his current position of General Manager.

Bob Allen- Fleet Manager  
Bob Allen is a Twenty Two year veteran in the enclosed auto transport business.
Bob started driving in 1985 hauling enclosed specialized vehicles, becoming an owner operator in 1991. In 1995 Bob started working in vehicle prep and transportation for commercial advertising. In 1997 Bob started with Select 1 at its inception. From 1997 through 2003 Bob was the Oxnard, CA Port Terminal Manager for Select 1 Transport. Late 2003 Bob relocated to the Select 1 Taylor, MI Terminal where he is presently working as the Fleet Manager overseeing driver HR, fleet maintenance, equipment purchasing, and safety and compliance.

Cynthia Boettner - Finance Manager  
Cindy joined Select 1 in 2005 as Finance Manager. Prior to coming on board she accumulated 20 years of experience in various fields, public accounting (CPA), waste processing and disposal industry, retail, food distribution and a national non profit organization.
Angel Lemmons- National Client Services Manager  
Angel spent 11 years working in customer service for a major retailer. She joined Select 1 in 1999 and currently runs our West Coast Operations. Angel provides competitive pricing for our clients and assures that their vehicles arrive without damage and on time.
Rick Johnson – Director of Business Development  
Rick spent 18 years in specialty trailer manufacturing before joining The Select 1 team to focus on Experiential and Event Marketing logistics.  He uses his years of experience to help clients choose the appropriate equipment for their particular project.
Rich Walters – Customer Service/ Dispatch  
Rich has worked in transportation operations for 17 years with the past 15 years working in specialty vehicle transportation.  He has worked with all of the major auto manufacturers managing a wide range of projects including, ride & drives, on location photo shoots and auto shows. 
Joe Criste – Customer Service/ Dispatch  
Joe has been involved in automobile transportation since 1983. Originally focusing on equipment manufacturing and modification, he has been in operations since 2000. Joe joined the Select 1 team in 2005.
Ann Danko – Manager of Safety & HR  
Ann joined the Select 1 team in 2005. Ann has worked in the transportation since 1989 and since 1999 her main focus has been DOT compliance and safety. In 2010 the Michigan Trucking Association named Ann as the "Safety Professional of the Year".
