Cutting edge technology and a unique mobile training environment are preparing Acura sales people for the expected demand created by the tech-laden Acura TLX. The two double expandable mobile exhibits created and managed by Mobile X Events, a division of Select 1 Group, rolled to twelve unique locations to train and inspire sales people from regional Acura dealerships.
Among recent recipients of the advanced technology training were 200 San Francisco area Acura sales people who participated in intense training at Mobile X Events touring class rooms on the grounds of historic Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley, CA. Breakfast was served at 9:00 A.M. and training began at 10. After three hours of work, lunch was served, which included steak. In the afternoon, more classroom training was followed by a few “hot laps” for outstanding students, driven by professional drivers.
“We’ve trained over 1,600 sales people in Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, New York, Miami, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle,” said Rick Johnson, President of Mobile X Events. “Many thanks to Frank Madril and Bob Dunn from Mobile X Events, who did an excellent job as the drivers on the tour. We heard nothing but great things from the client about their performance.”
The 12-stop tour trained Acura personnel in the intricacies of the 2015 TLX, which began heating up automotive media and fan websites when it was previewed last winter at the North American International Auto Show. Acura calls the TLX a “pure handling sports sedan (that) has only continued to garner international praise for its unprecedented performance, assertive styling and highly advanced technology.”
