NewsTECH TO SHINE AT L.A. AUTO SHOW

Automotive and technology leaders are set to present new ideas and unveil new products at the Connected Car Expo (CCE), part of the Los Angeles Auto Show. Events at CCE will be presented November 18-20.

Event planners said they were expecting breaking tech news from manufacturers including Volvo, Audi and Hyundai. The schedule includes 80 presenting experts, highlighted by CCE’s headline speaker, Volvo Car Group President and CEO Hakan Samuelsson.

Among major tech presentations:

  • Audi will preview what’s to come with the next generation of Audi’s modular infotainment platform
  • Hyundai will showcase its core interior design principles of safety, intuitiveness and simplicity inside its CCE booth. Executives will demonstrate the Genesis Intelligent Assistant, Blue Link 3.0 app, Assurance Car Care in-vehicle app, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • Volvo’s “Drive Me” autonomous vehicle will also make its North American debut on the CCE show floor, with executives discussing the car’s progressive autopilot technology. Volvo will showcase the car’s autonomous lane following, speed adaption and merging traffic capabilities.
